Product fields Adorn reads

The fields Adorn reads from each product in a Google Shopping feed, and the ones a feed must have before Adorn can connect it.

Reading your feed

A product feed lists your products with one field for each detail, such as a title or a price. These are the fields Adorn picks out of each product in a Google Shopping feed, whether or not the field name carries the g: prefix.

Fields a feed must have

When you connect a product feed, Adorn reads its first product and checks for these fields. If any is missing, the feed is not connected, and the form names each field it is missing.

  • id: the product's own identifier, which links each design to its product.
  • price: the product's price.
  • image_link: the address of the product's main photo, which Adorn draws into the design.

Other fields Adorn reads

Adorn also reads these fields when a product has them. A template's rules can match on product details such as the product type and whether it is on sale.

  • sale_price: a lower price for a sale.
