Notifications and alert emails

Every notice the bell shows and every alert email Adorn sends, with the code each one carries.

Where Adorn tells you

Adorn tells you about your store in two places: the Notifications bell in the top bar, and alert emails.

A notice about a problem carries a code, such as Code AD-SYNC-FAILED. In the bell, Why this happens beside the code opens its entry in the troubleshooting guide, and an alert email ends with the same link.

The notifications bell

The bell counts the notices you have not read. Opening it marks them read, Mark all read does the same, and View opens the page a notice is about. When nothing is waiting, it reads You are all caught up.

These notices carry a code, each listed with the title its troubleshooting entry gives it:

When products sync again after a sync problem, the bell says Products are syncing again. These notices carry no code:

  • Design published, or the template's name followed by published, when a publish you made goes live.
  • Meta connected, when Meta finishes connecting, with a reminder to choose your catalog in Adorn.
  • The winning variant's name followed by is now the main image, when a reviewer or owner promotes the winner of a test.
  • Whether a change you sent for review was approved, with any reason given when it was not, and notices about Adorn itself, such as We updated our Terms and Privacy Policy.
  • A publish is waiting for your review, for the owners and reviewers who did not send it, while approval is on.

Alert emails

Alert emails go to the addresses under Email alerts, or to your store's owners when none is listed. Each one is about one of these codes:

The email that says products are syncing again, once a sync problem clears, carries no code.
