Connect Meta

Connect your Meta catalog, register your designed supplementary feed, and complete the one documented Commerce Manager step so your ads serve Adorn's designed images.

What connecting Meta does

Connecting Meta lets your ads serve Adorn's designed images. Adorn registers your designed images as a supplementary feed on your catalog and prioritizes them for the Image field, so your ads show your branded creative while every other product detail keeps coming from your existing store integration.

Connect your Meta catalog

Connecting Meta is a single button. There is no per-store domain to enter.

  1. Select Connect Meta. Adorn opens Meta in a new tab to authorize catalog access.
  2. Approve the access in that tab, then return to Adorn.
  3. The Meta connection status panel picks up automatically and sets up your catalog.

Like Shopify, Meta authorizes in a real browser tab rather than inside Adorn, because Meta rejects embedded logins. Complete the login there and come back.

Pick your catalog

Once connected, Adorn finds the catalogs on your Meta account and registers your designed feed against one of them.

  • If you have exactly one catalog, Adorn registers it automatically — no picker.
  • If you have more than one, choose the catalog to register the designed feed against and select Use this catalog.

Your designed feed

Adorn registers a single supplementary feed on your catalog and serves it from a stable per-tenant URL. Meta re-fetches that URL on its own schedule, so as your designs refresh, your ads follow along without any further action.

Adorn prioritizes the designed feed for the Image field only. Your additional image links stay off by default, so your alternate product images keep feeding Meta's optimization.

One step in Meta Commerce Manager

There is one manual step Adorn cannot do for you, because Meta does not expose image-source priority to apps. Adorn is honest about it rather than pretending the connect is fully hands-off: once your feed is registered, you set it as the top image source once, in Commerce Manager.

In Meta Commerce Manager, open Data sources, then Configure sources, drag the Adorn feed to the top for Image, and Save. It is a one-time step. The status panel gives you an “Open Data sources” link straight to the right screen.

After you save, the panel shows “Your designed feed is live,” and your catalog ads begin serving your designed images.

Reconnecting Meta

Meta access can't refresh on its own, so from time to time you'll be asked to reconnect. When that happens the status panel shows a Reconnect button that re-runs the Meta login. Your catalog registration and the Commerce Manager priority you set are preserved, so reconnecting takes seconds.
