Priority and what's live
Order your templates so the first match wins, pause templates without deleting them, preview the impact of a change before saving, and see the winning design across your whole catalog.
Why priority matters
When more than one template could match a product, priority decides the winner. Templates match top to bottom, and the first match wins. A pinned Default template sits at the bottom as the catch-all for everything that no other template claims.
The what's-live list
The what's-live screen shows your non-default templates as an ordered list you can reorder by dragging or with the Move up and Move down buttons. Each row shows its rank, an enabled toggle, a status pill (Live, Paused, or Draft), its claimed product count, and when it was last applied.
Paused templates are skipped. Their products fall through to the next match or to the Default. The pinned Default row is always live and cannot be reordered or paused.
Previewing a change before you save
Reordering and toggling are local until you save. Before you commit, a collision readout previews the impact, for example Publishing this change would move 42 products from Sale to Full price. Select Save priority to re-tally coverage, or Reset to discard your changes.
Previewing the winning design
The catalog preview is a read-only view of the designs across your whole catalog, on your own real products. It has two modes:
- Template switcher: browse the full catalog through one chosen template, ignoring targeting, to see how that one design looks everywhere
- Live winner: each product shows the template that actually wins under your targeting and priority, faithful to what the feed serves
Search to find a product, and load an on-demand exact render on any tile for byte-true fidelity. Nothing here changes your live feed, so it is safe to explore.
