The Inspector: appearance, motion and AI

What the Inspector's sections for an element's look, motion and AI do: Background, Write copy with AI, Appearance, Animate and Effects.

How an element looks and moves

These Inspector sections set how an element looks and moves, and what AI writes or draws for it. They sit below the sections for the element's content and layout.

Background

Background appears when you select the product image, and sets what this template does behind each product photo. Under Product background, Keep leaves the photo as it is, Remove takes its background away, and Replace scene adds a new backdrop as well.

The choice here applies to every product this template draws.

Replace scene adds a backdrop only behind the products chosen in Settings, under Creative defaults, and the scene itself is set in the Creative & AI panel, under AI image backgrounds.

Write copy with AI

Write copy with AI appears on elements with words in them, and sets how AI writes this template's ad copy. Tone chooses its voice: Punchy, Benefit-led, Playful or Minimal. Turn on AI ad copy for this template switches it on here, and also switches AI ad copy on for your store.

On the sample product shows the copy written for the product on the canvas, once there is some.

Appearance

Appearance sets an element's color and finish. Fill type chooses Solid or Gradient, Fill picks the color or one of your brand colors, and Opacity makes the element see-through. Shapes and badges also have Corner radius, and text has Auto-fit text, which shrinks long text to fit its box.

Animate

The motion section reads Animate product when you select the product image, and Animate design for any other element. Animate design sets an Entrance, an Exit and a Loop effect, with Easing and Timing, and Preview motion plays it on the canvas.

Animate product chooses None, Simple or AI motion for the product photo. Simple adds a pan or zoom, and AI motion makes a push-in or orbit clip with your AI-motion provider, which you download in Settings and which is not added to your feed.

Motion ships in a product video only once you switch video on for your store, in Settings, under Creative defaults. Until then, the feed gets the still image.

Effects

Effects adds a Stroke around an element, a Shadow behind it, and a Fade across it toward one side. The section starts folded.
