The tool rail panels

Checked against the app on October 17, 2026

What each panel on the editor's tool rail holds: Add element, Layers, Brand, Creative & AI, Assets and Templates.

The tool rail

The tool rail runs down the left edge of the editor. Each of its buttons opens a panel beside the rail, and pressing the same button again closes it. Layers is open when the editor opens.

Documentation, at the foot of the rail, opens the Help panel beside your design.

Add element

Add element lists everything you can put on a design, in groups such as Image, Written by AI, From your brand, Shapes, Price and sale and Smart badges. Click a row to add it to the canvas, or drag it onto the canvas to place it exactly.

The Add element panel, with the Product image button marked.
A new element lands on the canvas selected, ready to place.

A smart badge shows only on the products it fits. Free shipping, for example, shows only on products priced over a threshold you set.

Layers

Layers lists the elements in your design, and the top row is the front layer. Select a row to select its element, or drag a row up or down to change the order.

The Layers panel, with the Lock element button marked.
Each row's buttons appear when you point at the row.

The Lock element button on a row keeps its element from moving, and the Hide element button hides it.

Brand

Brand holds the settings your templates share: badge rules, colors, fonts, headlines and messaging, pricing and your store rating. Changing one gives your products new images when you publish.

The Brand panel, with the Badge type field marked.
A change here reaches every product when you publish.

Output ratios, at the foot of the panel, sets which sizes this template makes, and applies to this template only.

Creative & AI

Creative & AI holds this template's AI copy, AI motion and AI image backgrounds. Most choices here belong to this template, and your spend caps, coverage and vendor choices live in Settings. Turning a feature on here can also turn it on for your store, and a Store-wide chip beside its switch says when it does.

The Creative & AI panel, with the Turn on AI ad copy checkbox marked.
Each section's chip says whether a choice belongs to this template or your store.

AI copy

AI copy holds Turn on AI ad copy, which writes an ad headline and value props for your products. Turning it on here also turns it on for every template that has not switched it off, and turning it off here turns it off for this template only. Value props per product sets how many each product gets, and Prompt override replaces the default copywriting prompt.

No product gets copy until AI ad copy is on and Settings, under Creative defaults, gives it products to write for.

AI motion

Turn on AI motion makes short motion clips of your products with your AI-motion provider, in the style Motion preset names. Video output and Sound, under it, hold this template's product videos and the sound they play.

AI image backgrounds

Turn on AI image backgrounds puts an AI scene behind the product photo on this template. Scenes are made only for the products you choose in Settings, under Creative defaults, using the Scene preset and Scene prompt you set here.

Assets

Assets holds the logos, photos and palettes you save, on the Logos, Photos and Palettes tabs. Click one to place it on the canvas, or drag it in.

The Assets panel's Palettes tab, with the Add current palette button marked.
Click a saved palette to use its colors again.

Upload adds a new one, and Add current palette, on the Palettes tab, saves the palette you use now. Fonts live in the Brand panel.

Templates

Templates holds Import from Figma, which brings a frame from a Figma file into this template as its starting layout. Your saved templates are on the Templates page.
