The Performance tab

See how the designs in each of your tests compare on Meta, and what each figure on the Insights tabs counts.
The Performance tab
Performance, in Insights, shows how the designs in each of your tests are doing on Meta over the last seven days. Under Creative performance, each test has a card named for its template, with a row for each design in the test.
If Adorn can't fetch new numbers, the tab says why, above any numbers it saved before. Where a setting needs to change, a button takes you there, such as Open Sources & markets.

On each Insights tab, the question mark at the top right opens that tab's guide in the app.
Reading a test's card
The top of each card names the template and says where its test stands: Still testing while it runs, Test stopped once it is stopped, or Winner promoted once a design has been promoted.
Each design's row shows its click rate and its return on ad spend, with a bar that compares its click rate with the best design in the test. The original design is marked orig. Under the bar, the row says how many people saw the design and how much was spent on it.
A small line under each row traces the design's click rate over time. Adorn adds one point each day, so until a design has two points, the row says The trend adds one point each day.
When a design has cleared the promotion threshold, the card says it is currently leading, and a reviewer or owner can promote it from Winners. Until then, a running test's card says Still gathering data, no clear winner yet.
How Insights counts
Where Insights shows click rates, spend or sales from your ads, they are the figures Meta reports for your ad account, and Adorn shows them as Meta reports them. They come from the Meta ad account chosen in Settings, Sources & markets, under Performance & testing.
Product spend and Segments name the counting rule their sales were counted under, such as Meta, 7-day click, view-through excluded. Under that rule, a sale counts when it follows a click on the ad within seven days, and sales after a view with no click are left out.
Where a product has a cost on file, Product spend shows Price less cost: the product's price less that cost, in money and as a share of the price. Revenue less cost, at today's price is the product's counted revenue less the cost of the items sold, using today's price and the cost on file.
A product with no cost on file reads no cost on file for this product on both lines. Product costs are set in Settings, Sources & markets.
