Invite people to your store, give each one a role, and choose whether a publish needs approval first.

The Team & roles page

Team & roles, in Settings, lists under Members the people who can use your store, then the Invites waiting to be accepted, then Email alerts, which sets who Adorn emails about your store.

Settings, Team & roles, with the Members section marked.
The question mark beside Members opens this guide in the app.

Everyone at your store can edit designs. Only an owner can invite people, change roles or turn approval on or off.

Invite someone

Who can do this: Owners only.

  1. Under Invite member, type the person's email address, choose their role, and press Send invite.
The invites and the invite form on the Team & roles page, with the Send invite button marked.
The role list sits between the address and the button.

Adorn emails them a link to accept. Until they do, Invites lists them with when the invite expires and who sent it, and Cancel withdraws the invite.

The person opens the link and signs in, or creates an account, with the email address the invite was sent to. Adorn then shows the role they joined with, and Go to the editor takes them in.

The screen an invite link opens once the invite is accepted, with the Go to the editor button marked.
The screen confirms the role the person joined with.

If the link was already used, has expired, or was opened with a different email address, the screen says so, and an owner can send a new invite.

Roles

Who can do this: Owners only.

Each person has one role, which an owner chooses from the list beside them:

  • owner: edits designs and manages the team, billing, connections, product sources, cost uploads, AI keys and agent access
  • reviewer: edits designs, approves a publish while approval is on, and promotes winners
  • editor: edits designs

Remove takes someone's access away once you confirm with Yes, remove them. Nothing they made is deleted, and you can invite them back.

Your store always keeps at least one owner, so Adorn changes nothing if a change would leave it without one.

Approval before a publish

Who can do this: Owners only.

  1. Tick Require approval to publish.
The approval setting on the Team & roles page, with the Require approval to publish checkbox marked.
Owners and reviewers still publish directly while it is ticked.

While it is on, a publish by an editor waits in the review queue until a reviewer or owner approves it. Owners and reviewers still publish directly, and agent tokens cannot publish at all. While it is off, a publish goes live straight away.

When a publish is waiting, the owners and reviewers who did not send it are told in the notifications bell.
